The Resource Recovery Fund Board (RRFB) would like to notify all Enviro-Depot operators and their employees that EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 22, 1999, liquor and beer containers will no longer be accepted at participating Nova Scotia Liquor Commission (NSLC) outlets. The RRFB will now be administering the deposit/refund program for liquor and non-liquor beverage containers, excluding refillable beer containers.

Information will be available at NSLC outlets during the week of January 4th notifying customers that they will no longer be accepting beer and liquor containers for deposit/refund. During the week of the January 4th, Eniviro-Depots will receive two posters for each location informing customers of the change. Please place these in visible locations.

PLEASE DO NOT CHANAE YOUR SORTING PRACTICES. The effective date for the RRFB to assume operation of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission deposit/return program is not until MARCH 1, 1999.
