A drive around Lake Ainslie to MacDonald House Museum will provide you with spectacular views of Bald Eagles, Osprey, beautiful blue water and rolling hills. On calm evenings you will hear the call of the loon. Trout fishing, canoeing, walking and hiking, cabins, camping and bed & breakfasts are available. The museum features a "Gothic Revival" home, barn, school and display shed containing furniture, wagons and artifacts of Lake Ainslie that depict the life style of our ancestors.
The "Bunny Trail" holds surprises for children. "Gilander's Mountain Trail" is for meandering through the trees.
The annual "Heritage Festival" keeps alive the traditions of the past
