Marble Mountain Library & Museum
Reached from Trans Canada Highway #105 from Orangedale, or from
Route 4 turn off at Cleveland. The museum, located in a former
schoolhouse with a superb view of Loch Bras d'Or, also serves
as a community library. Learn the story of the limestone and
marble quarrying industry in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The
museum displays photographs, country artifacts, natural history
specimens, and records of local businesses of the community at its height.
