The Margaree Anglers Association who are sponsors of the Margaree Salmon Museum are interested in preservation of trout and salmon fishing in the Margaree River. Here you will see numerous displays showing old-time and new fishing rods and tackle, fly-tying material, books, pictures and poachers paraphernalia. A large wall chart illustrates the life cycle of the Atlantic salmon from the eggs to the time they re-enter the river. Preserved salmon and trout eggs show the early stages of development. Of interest to both young and old is an aquarium containing young trout and salmon. Special gifts are available such as: Books. Handbook for the Margaree, prints, watercolors, maps of area, postcards, files, Echo-Time Rocks and other items.
